01Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements. If you are under 13 years of age, you are not permitted to use the App.

02Description of service

AI Food Scanner is an AI-powered mobile application that analyzes photographs of food to provide estimated nutritional information, including dish name, estimated weight, calories, protein, fat, and carbohydrates.

The App offers two tiers of service:

• Free Tier — up to 2 food scans per day. The daily limit resets each day.
• Premium Subscription — unlimited food scans. Available as Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly subscription plans.

03AI disclaimer and health warning

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated results are approximations and should not be relied upon as precise or accurate nutritional data.
• The App does not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. The information provided is for general informational purposes only.
• The App is not a substitute for professional consultation with a qualified doctor, dietitian, nutritionist, or other healthcare professional.
• You should not make health, dietary, or medical decisions based solely on the results provided by the App.
• The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, medical condition, or nutritional deficiency.
• If you have food allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or any health concerns, you must consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary decisions. Do not rely on this App to identify allergens or assess nutritional suitability for any medical condition.

04Subscriptions and payments

The App offers Premium subscription plans (Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly). Subscription details and pricing are displayed within the App before purchase.

All payments are processed through Google Play billing. The Developer does not directly collect, store, or process any payment information.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.

Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policies. To request a refund, please contact Google Play support directly.

05User data and privacy

The App collects and stores the following data locally on your device:

• User profile information: age, gender, height, weight, and activity level.
• Scan history: food analysis results, timestamps, and associated photos.
• Daily scan count for free tier usage tracking.

When you perform a food scan, your photo is sent to our server for AI analysis. The photo is processed in real time and is not stored or retained on our servers after the analysis is complete.

The App uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat — for subscription management and entitlement verification.
• Google Play — for payment processing and app distribution.

The App requires access to your device camera solely for the purpose of photographing food for analysis. The App does not require user accounts and does not synchronize data to the cloud. All personal data remains on your device.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the subscription system, scan limits, or any other security or access-control features of the App.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Abuse the AI analysis service through excessive automated requests, scripting, or any form of spam.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App, its servers, or networks connected to the App.

07Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, user interface, and all associated content, is the property of the Developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any photographs you take using the App.

Subject to these Terms, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not permit you to distribute, sublicense, or make the App available to third parties.

08Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Developer does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• The results obtained from the App, including AI-generated nutritional estimates, will be accurate or reliable.
• Any errors in the App will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, health consequences, or financial losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

The Developer's total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for Premium subscription fees in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Developer is not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services, including Google Play and RevenueCat.

09Changes to these terms

The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will notify you through the App or via update notes on Google Play. Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the App and uninstall it from your device.

10Termination

The Developer may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. To cancel a Premium subscription, follow the cancellation procedures in your Google Play account settings.

Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms relating to Intellectual Property (Section 7), Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability (Section 8), and this Termination section shall survive.
