01Information we collect

1.1 Camera and food images

The app uses your device camera to capture photos of food for nutritional analysis. Captured images are sent to our remote server for AI-powered food recognition. Images are processed in real time and are not stored on the server after analysis is complete.

1.2 User profile data (stored locally)

The app collects the following personal data, which is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to external servers:

• Age
• Gender
• Weight
• Height
• Activity level

This data is used solely to calculate personalized calorie goals and nutritional recommendations.

1.3 Scan history (stored locally)

The app stores your food scan history (dish name, weight, calories, macronutrients, photo reference, and timestamp) in a local database on your device. This data is not transmitted to external servers.

1.4 Google Firebase

The app uses the following Firebase services:

• Firebase Analytics — collects usage data to help the developer understand how the app is used and improve the user experience. Data: app usage and interaction data, device information (model, OS version, screen size), anonymized IP, and app instance identifiers.
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports to help the developer identify and fix bugs. Data: crash logs, stack traces, device state at the time of crash, device information and app instance identifiers.
• Firebase Remote Config — used to manage app configuration remotely. Does not collect personal data beyond standard Firebase identifiers.

Google anonymizes log data by removing part of the IP address (after 9 months) and cookie information (after 18 months).

1.5 RevenueCat (subscription management)

The app uses RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions. RevenueCat processes:

• Purchase and subscription status
• Transaction identifiers
• Anonymous app user identifiers

RevenueCat does not receive your personal profile data (age, weight, etc.).

1.6 Google Play Services

Google Play Services provides core infrastructure used by the app, including in-app purchases and security services. Google acts as a data controller for personal data processed in Google Play Services.

03Sharing your information

The developer will share personal information with third parties only in the ways described in this privacy statement. Your personal information may be disclosed:

• To third-party service providers listed in Section 1 (Firebase, RevenueCat), solely for the purposes described.
• As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process.
• To any other third party with your prior consent to do so.

The developer does not sell your personal data.

04Data retention

• Food images — not retained; processed in real time and immediately discarded.
• User profile and scan history — stored locally on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the app.
• Firebase Analytics — retained per Google's data retention policies.
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash data retained for 90 days.
• RevenueCat — subscription data retained per RevenueCat's privacy policy.

05Permissions

The app requires the following permissions:

• Camera — to capture food photos for analysis.
• Internet — to send images for AI analysis, manage subscriptions, and communicate with Firebase services.

06Security

I am striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your Personal Information. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Any other mode of distribution is not official and thus, is not maintained by the developer. This privacy policy is effective to distribution made on the official channel only.

09Changes to this privacy policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The developer will notify users of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
